Q.  I am pregnant and have zero sex drive.  Help!

A.  Pregnant sex is supposed to be extremely erotic and pleasurable for both you and your partner.  Unless the doctor has instructed you not to have sex, there is no reason you shouldn’t explore and enjoy your sexuality well into your third trimester.  Most find the glow and extra weight to be sexy.  Some women experience a voracious sexual appetite during this time and also find themselves at their sexiest during this beautiful body change.  Since, you are not experiencing this; examine why you don’t desire sex.  Does your partner make you feel fat?  Are you feeling unsexy?  Communication is at the root of the solution.  Discuss your feelings with your partner.

For our purposes, let’s assume it’s not attributed to your appearance.  Pay special attention to your sexual needs.  Refer to “Ride ‘Em Cowgirl” for some spicy positions to try during your pregnancy.  You can also try to add additional stimulation and foreplay to the sexual menu to ensure you find yourself aroused and in the mood.  I hope this helps!
